Who we are

Christopher Knight Home is a furniture brand with a long record in seating, case goods and outdoor ranges. This site is the reading room for that collection: it gathers the pieces by room, sets them out shelf by shelf, and says in plain words what each group is for. We are not a warehouse and not a carrier. We are the people who read the specifications, compare the finishes and decide which items deserve a place on a shelf that somebody will scroll through on a Tuesday evening.

A piece is added when three things hold. The material has to be honest: solid acacia or eucalyptus rather than a thin veneer over particle board, a kiln-dried hardwood frame under the upholstery, powder coating on metal that will stand outdoors. The construction has to be repairable: bolts and brackets a household can tighten again in a year, cushions with covers that come off. The shape has to survive fashion, so that the chair bought this spring still looks deliberate beside a table bought three years from now. Anything that fails one of the three is left out, however good the photograph looks.

Design without noise

The collection leans on quiet mid-century and traditional shapes rather than on statement pieces. That is a practical choice more than an aesthetic one: quiet shapes mix. A tufted loveseat can stand in the same room as a plain oak table, and an iron side table can serve a velvet armchair without an argument between them. Colour is handled the same way, with neutral bases and one accent, so that a room can be changed by swapping a rug or a cushion instead of replacing the furniture.
